IIn a world where beauty is often defined by narrow standards, my journey as a makeup artist began with a personal quest for self-acceptance and empowerment. Growing up, I struggled with feelings of insecurity, believing that my appearance made me stand out in all the wrong ways. It wasn’t until a transformative pageant makeup session that I realized the profound power of beauty to elevate not just how we look, but how we feel.

That moment ignited a passion within me—a desire to dedicate my life to helping others discover their inner beauty and embrace their unique features. I believe that makeup and hair are not just superficial enhancements but powerful tools that can unlock a person’s true potential and amplify their self-expression.

With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, I have honed my skills to create luxurious, timeless looks that resonate with each client’s personal style and needs. My career began with formal training at the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis, followed by specialized education in beauty and character makeup at Makeup Designory in Burbank, CA. For twelve years, I owned and operated my own salon, where I cultivated a deep understanding of client care and the transformative power of beauty.

As my journey evolved, I found my true calling in providing on-location beauty services for weddings, red carpet events, and other milestone celebrations. There is immense joy in being part of these special moments, where I can witness firsthand how the right makeup and hair styling can elevate confidence and inner radiance. My approach is deeply personalized—I believe in creating looks that are not only beautiful but also long-lasting, using high-quality, waterproof, and transfer-resistant products that ensure my clients look flawless from morning to night.

Beyond my work with clients, I serve as the President of The Annex Beauty Association, an organization close to my heart. At The Annex, we provide education and build a supportive community for beauty professionals at every stage of their careers. Through educational blogs and resources, we empower fellow beauty professionals to navigate the challenges of running their own businesses and unlock their full potential.

To me, being a makeup artist is about so much more than the physical act of applying cosmetics. It’s about fostering an environment of self-love, acceptance, and transformation. It’s about connecting with my clients on a deeper level, understanding their dreams and aspirations, and helping them feel like the most confident and empowered version of themselves.
